Statement of Faith
-
We believe that the Scriptures of the Tenach and the Apostolic Writings (aka OT & NT) are the written Word of God, inspired by the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), and therefore inerrant in all that they teach. They are therefore supremely authoritative in matters of faith and life. (Isaiah 40:8; 2 Tim 3:16
-
We believe in One God, Creator of heaven and earth. We believe that He exists in three persons – HaAv (The Father), HaBen (the Son), and the Ruach HaKodesh. He alone is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent. (Deut 6:4; Matt 28:19)
-
We believe that Yeshua the Messiah is the only begotten Son of God, the Messiah of Israel and the Saviour of the world. We believe in His atoning death for the sins of the world, and in His literal bodily resurrection on the third day, and in His ascension into heaven where He sits at the right hand of God the Father. (Isaiah 53:5; Acts 4:12)
-
We believe in the resurrection of the body, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost. (Dan 12:1-3; Rev 20:11-13)
-
We believe that the Ruach HaKodesh indwells those who have trusted in Yeshua as their personal Saviour We believe that the gifts of the Ruach as outlined in scripture are operational today. We believe in the leading of the Ruach in all aspects of the ministry of Yeshua the Messiah, and that all believers should seek to be filled with the Ruach HaKodesh at all times. (John 20:22; Eph 5:18)
-
We believe in the Messianic Kehilla (Ekklesia), the universal body of born-again believers in Messiah Yeshua, which is comprised of both Jew and Gentile. (Matt 16:18; Eph 2:13, 14)
-
We believe in God’s eternal covenant with national Israel and in the literal interpretation of the prophetic scriptures in the Tenach and the Apostolic Writings which foretell Israel’s restoration and regeneration as a nation. (Jeremiah 31:34-36; Romans 11:26)
-
We believe in the literal bodily return of Yeshua the Messiah to this earth at an hour only known to God, when He will set up His Kingdom and reign from the throne of David. (Zech 12:10; Acts 1:11)
